Tooth Whitening: articles and advices for a whiter teeth

Im 13 yrs old. Im getting braces soon (Getting my teeth fitted March 3!!) and my doctor informed me that before that date (which is pretty soon...6 days!!), i have to try my best to get my teeth whitened in any way: home remedies, whitening, etc. I was wondering if i am in the appropriate age of getting my teeth whitened. I have asked a few friends and a dentist back home in my country and they have advised me not to, they said it makes teeth weaker. Does it, really?? I was at www.PriceDoc.com and the cheapest price they had was $399. I want something affordable and reasonable. If you can recommend me to any dentist you have tried, i live in Yonkers, NY. i have friends coming in the next hour, my dentist said i could have anything white just wondering would that include popcorn and white wine thanks for that answer and its ok to brush my teeth with toothpaste tonight. i really should have asked more questions but my teeth were very sore after the treatment

Hi, i've had my front top two teeth vanneered because i was premature when born and the enamel on my teeth was weak and my teeth kept chipping. i got them done for free on nhs as was only 17 at time, however i now want one of my other teeth done as it sticks out slightly. I dont know whther to get anythin done to my bottom teeth also, they have been worn down as dont have much enamel on but dont look bad, just little. what should i do. How expensive And is it painfull, as all i had done last time was vanneers.Really appreciate your advice. Thankyou x

people say i should look for 3%, but crest whitening strips have 10% hydrogen peroxide in them? please help someone!!!
